Explore projects proposed and built by the community

We have two ambulances in our inventory and we are converting them into mobile makerspaces for community outreach. This is funded and active.

Flobot is developing a simple, affordable precision-watering system that helps people grow more food at home, in small-scale growing spaces, and in community gardens. By delivering water only where it is needed, Flobot can make productive garden space easier to maintain and more reliable. Flobot is also a job-carving venture. As the work becomes repeatable, it can be divided into meaningful, supported roles shaped around members who face employment challenges. Potential roles include assembly and preparation, parts and inventory, plant-care testing, watering checks, packaging, quality checks, documentation, customer support, and project-site maintenance. Roles will be designed around individual abilities, interests, pace, communication style, and support needs. The prototype is being refined before the first commercial offer is chosen. One hundred percent of after-tax profit is intended to return to Community Ventures through the Community Investment Fund.
